20's Paris

I recently watched Midnight in Paris by Woody Allen and I agree with Owen Wilson's character... if I were to live in another era, I would live in 20's Paris, at least for the fashion.  Anything modern-day 20's, old 20's, a different take on the 20's... is pretty ill in my book.

this actually looks like an anti-smoking campaign...the dark circles around their eyes are probably NOT from a smokey eye palette.

Josephine Baker and Edith Piaf's music did it for me in high school, they definitely helped me become a Francophile dork.  French lyrics are so emotional and yearning, perfect for a young girl.
