20's Paris

I recently watched Midnight in Paris by Woody Allen and I agree with Owen Wilson's character... if I were to live in another era, I would live in 20's Paris, at least for the fashion.  Anything modern-day 20's, old 20's, a different take on the 20's... is pretty ill in my book.

Josephine Baker and Edith Piaf's music did it for me in high school, they definitely helped me become a Francophile dork.  French lyrics are so emotional and yearning, perfect for a young girl.

The Waterfall Braid

For some reason I always try these braids right before work, when I'm most pressed for time.  This braid especially makes me feel as though I'm weaving a basket on my head, but it's an awesome fix for a bad hair and/or bang day.
