Clog Alert! Clog Alert!

H&M and Swedish Hasbeens have paired up to make some affordable clogs.  This is especially good news for a tall girl like me who does not want to wear platform clogs all the time to make the $300-400 count.  I mean, have you seen the Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony clogs?  Ouch.  I feel like I could have these sitting around for that perfect springtime moment where I will wear a romper with sailboats on it, and go on a picnic.  Ja?   Available April 20th.

Skaters and the girls who love them

My first boyfriend was a skater.  This, coupled with being a teen from the late 90s, makes me an all-time skater boy lover.  If I see the sweet remnants of a former skater (muscular lankiness, elbow scars, fuck you attitude, a crusty beard) in say, a 30 year old man, I swoon.  The same goes for skater style.  I'm not talking like Tony Hawk's empire slash video game slash knee pads of the present day, I'm more along the lines of Tony Hawk when he signed my Dawls shirt (yeah) when I was 13 and we all wore a uniform of hoodies/skater shoes/cardigans/emo glasses/crazy ass hair.
